In other words, if there was an event with no rational explanation other than divine agency, would you still dogmatically deny the existance of God?

Don't duck the hypo -- you ask around and verify it did happen to everyone everywhere in the world with a printer.

There have been several viral infections that have done things similar to this, so I'd have to have proof that they were not connected to infected networks or to the net. If all the computers around the world did this, having never been connected to the net, and it could be verified that they had not been corrupted prior to shipping, then you might have an arguement.

Ah, one of those pointless speculative questions again. Let's see ...

Okay, when even printers which are not plugged into the electric plug are printing happily away, I'd give it a thought. On the other hand, why should I start worshipping a printer? Or if you put it otherwise, which one of the many printers that all state "I am god" should I finally worship?

Okay, let's say there is a miracle of any sort ... I could not say if this miracle should be attributed to the Christian god, Osiris, Baal, Odin, or the notorious Flying Spaghetti monster? Come on, the idea of talking printers sounds much more like the FSM than a serious deity, doesn't it?

No, why?
What evidence is there that it was ACTUALLY God himself that printed every single copy?
Besides, if it really were God, he would put on a more convincing show...

*Edit:
Thank you Jesus M for pointing that out on our behalf :)

*Edit:
If the Christians were able to scientifically prove that the actions were done by God, and if the top scientists in the world were able to prove that there was absolutely no scientific explanation, perhaps. And even if He did exist then, I would shake my head in misery in that some bipolar being was in charge of the Universe.

Why should it be a printer, that is too easy, how about every stuffed animal? Or every tree, etc.

Wouldn't it be easier if God just came down and told us in "person"?

If my printer did that, I would think a religious nut had hacked my computer, NOT God!
