Peace. Be Still.
I absolutely LOVE this story.
It's in Mark. 4th Chapter, real close to then end, like verse 37 or 39.
Now Christ had just finished with the sermon on the Mount. He and his boys are getting ready to sail on the Sea of Galilee, which is really quite small. About 12 miles by 7 miles wide. But it gets some of the most vicious storms.
So he and the disciples are on the boat. He's ubber tired as you can imagine and Christ falls asleep.
This wicked storm kicks up, and the guys are kind'a stressing out, and they actually wake him to say, "Master do you care not if we perish?" (AS if! Did they forget who was at the helm?)
Now, i don't know that i would have the nards to wake the Prince of Peace, from a much needed sleep, and i KNOW i wouldn't do it with a smart mouth. *grin*
But they did. And Christ, probably a bit miffed by their brief laps in faith, spoke those three words.
The storm went silent, and i would imagine the disciples did too. And the Savior got a good nap

The Bible has an infinite supply of treasures, that would take an eternity to unravel, for it is the mind and power of God unto salvation. How can I just pick one verse and say that it is my favorite, when the themes of redemption are exhaustless?

Revelation 21:3-4 " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

I have many favorite powerful verses..
One is "with God all things are possible" and "What is impossible with man is possible with God" and the third verse is a prayer that is found in luke 11.2 of the king james holy bible that Jesus left for everyone to pray:
And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3Give us day by day our daily bread.
4And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil
