I once read in a muslim book that they believe that near the end of the world the Ark of Covenant will be found by the massiah of the jews and due to that he'd have unlimited powers and will be able to build the temple of solomon a thrid time. This massiah is considered as antichrist by christains and jews. and he will rule the world for forty days.

what do you make of this?

There's many prophecies about end times, but I think we will have to just wait and see what happens.

Right in some ways. The temple will be rebuilt and the Antichrist will sit there proclaiming that he is the Messiah. About the Ark of the Covenant, there is nothing in Scripture which says it will found. That may or may not happen.
Peace and blessings!

The REAL Ark of the Covenant will not likely present itself publicly until Elijah returns from his near-light speed trek around the universe. Elijah will take out the one existing copy of the Law of Moab, a law that was removed from Israel and the world, from it's hiding place in between the metal and the wood on the side of the REAL Ark of the Covenant. Elijah will not rebuild the temple, because our peoples' temple ceremonies were always unlawful and were not dictated by the One with Whom we are covenanted. The temple will be rebuilt, however, just prior to the culmination of the strange war which has already begun.

The so-called "antichrist" has been with us for 2,000 years already, continually trying to point the finger away from itself to one or another.

Well this is a theological reason why the ark of the covenant has not been located yet. even if it were located by scientists it could not be touched.it is meant for the last days and for one nation to find it. When that day comes then shall the temple be built.the muslim's can't seem to get anything right about christianity, they know that our religion is right so thats why they fight us all the time.i will discuss more of this matter in my new yahoo group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/countdowntribulation

It's not the Ark of the Covenant that is important, it's what's in it lol It's supposed to contain the tablets holding the original 10 Commandments written in stone by the finger of God. Think what that would mean.

no...confused thinking

the jews already have the ark of the covenant...they know where it is

the true jewish messiah (messiah of both christians and jews) is not the antichrist.....

the antichrist will be from the middle east area of the ancient roman-greecian empires, and will be a FALSE messiah who claims to bring peace but tricks people......the antichrist will never have the ark....he will rule for 7 + years until he is defeated by the true messiah, when the antichrist attacks Israel.

Ask yourself...for what purpose?
From a Christian point of view, the Messiah was and still is Jesus Christ.
Being perfect, he was SENT to earth by his heavenly Father [ Almighty God Jehovah Exodus 3;15, 6;3]
Being perfect, he did what was required of him...perfectly.
He does not have to come back [ physically].
However, he is ALREADY back, spiritually, with some people doing exactly as he asked.

Boy, are you EVER confused. Maybe you should try reading about all the religions you mentioned, instead of relying on hearsay?

I read once in a book that there were these three little pigs, and each wanted to build a house. There was also a wolf who liked to kill and eat pigs.

What do you make of that?
