I'd call your vet for reassurance. No such thing as a dumb question about your dog. Sounds very normal.

I have had numerous bi***es spayed over 30 years of owning them, and this never happened to me until my Terv was spayed three years ago. I had her checked out, and was assured it was normal and okay. Being a real worrier , I was still really concerned. It went on for well over a week.....about a fortnight, if I remember correctly, and she was fine. She IS fine!! So I wouldn't worry unduly. If there is no smell, and she is okay, then try not to worry. A phone call to your vet will put your mind at rest.

All the best to you and your dog.

PS. My bi*** was spayed 2 mnths after her first season, so she was not coming into season at the time.

somewhat of oozing around the incision internet site could desire to be commonly used for the 1st day, yet vaginal bleeding isn't - on no account a week later. The vet could desire to work out her on the instant at no charge as area of the ordinary care following an operation. If she has a blood vessel that became into not tied off or cauterized good, she could desire to bleed to loss of life. stable success - wish she's ok!

i had my dog spayed @ 7 mos. old. i don't remember her bleeding, but it's possible that maybe your dog was goin into heat. females usually go into heat around that age from what my vet told me. just keep her activity down to a minimum for about the 1st week after bein spayed. that gives her body time to heal & keeps the stitches from comin out or tearin the skin.

Ring your vet and ask! If she was in heat when spayed then it may be OK, but since she no longer has a uterus to bleed from any residual bleeding should be gone within 48 hours.

I could be just her body getting rid of all that stuff left in her the only time you should be worried is if the colour is strange and their is an odour that is a sign of infection but if you are concerned call your vet and just have a chat to them about it good luck

The only time this has happened with any of mine is with a momma dog. This is not normal but it is possible that a piece of the uterine stump is still there. You will want to pay attention for any infection.
