its not, perhaps in the west people are pre occupied with it, but here almost all women marry as a virgin. in western societies you get alot of sex images in music and on tv resulting in your high rates of children born without even the faintest clue who the father could be, or your intense std rates. here we don't get that on our tv or media, again we have hardly any single mom's, low std rates. perhaps their is a correlation here.

Our sexual nature is a unique part of what we are and is a very powerful emotive force,when it becomes lust then the problems begin in earnest.
Sex is related primarily to love and as such can be innocent and beautiful and it is not in itself anything other than a natural gift.
We have leanings towards the addictive and dark side of pleasure and when we crave sex to the point of excluding love it becomes lust, and lust is highly addictive.

Its something we live with, not meant to be controlled.
Sex is a result of our emotions and craving. A by product of lust and passion. It is 'controlled' when one has observance and 'control' of the mind (which you can't really 'control' anyway).
Control is used here in a sense that one has a certain degree of concentration on the phenomena that appears and disappears in the mind, with understanding of its natural states/conditions without ant prejudice or conclusions.
It can be said to be the 'giant' or 'beast' or the 'monkey' within us all that needs to be tamed... 'pacifying' it is a better word rather than control :-)

Why try? Sex is natural, its a survival trait. The only reason people put down sex is because society refuses to acknowledge human urges. If sex (or any urge) is satisfied in a responsible manner, let the beast out!

Because it becomes over Lust & we start feeling pleasure with it. This is such a uncontrolable Beast that it turns us mad for it.
Only Meditation & Self realization is the medicine for its control.

whether it is a shaggy dog tale or no longer, it is rediculously stupid. intercourse is intercourse. Sexual immorality would not convey forth abominations, it brings approximately people. The immorality my be an abomination, however the people born are no longer. Have some appreciate. Have some hassle-free experience. I believe its because its a primitive instinct within ourselves. The need to mate, continue the species is not just restricted to humans. Some people can hold out till marriage.... personally I like to test drive the car before I buy it!

It feels good, and affects the brain like a drug. Also, humans are made to need others and being that close to someone, is hard to give up once you had it. Then there's the instinct to perpetuate the species. But I think mostly, it really is just that it feels so good..
