How does the CCD function?

CCD - Color-Capture Disc which is installed in the camera to do its function. How does it function? How can I use it to install into a telescope?

Actually, CCD stands for Charge-coupled device.
The standard way to use your camera with a telescope is to buy an adapter that joins the two together. Sometimes telescopes come with these adapters in the box.
