Ok laser surgery!!

Depending on how it is done, You can have laser surgery to correct your refractive error (Long or short distance!!) in your eye, to do this they use a device called a microkeratome to create a flap in the cornea of the eye! they then use a laser machine to reshape the cornea so if you are short sighted they steepen the cornea if you are long sighted they will flatten the cornea. They is also anothe technique which rather than cutting a flap in the eye they can create a flap using a laser machine and then correct as before, This is a safer option as the recovery time is much quicker, however it is a more expensive option, Before you can eventhink about having this done i would check out all the websites you can on it, if you are not sure then dont have it done, this is your eyesight you are talking about...

Cheapest looking at £400.00 - £3475.00 PER EYE!! so shop around but dont go for the cheapest go for the best surgeon!!

In the UK Optimax are advertising it for £395 per eye.

Now a friend of mine had a holiday in Turkey and had his done there for a grand total of £250. To date he's had no problems and he said the care is far superior then here.

lasik here in the states costs about $1000 to have both eyes done and there are payment programs. It seems almost no one wears glasses anymore.
