Hi can you tell me if its normal to get rainbow flashing lights with a migraine but no headache, if not what could it be? x

Sounds like migraine aura to me. There are many variations of migraine: Classic migraine (migraine with aura), Common migraine (migraine without aura) are the main ones.

To get the aura part without the headache and the rest of the symptoms is called an Acephalgic migraine. My mum gets these, but not very often, once a year roughly. It lasts about 20-30 mins for her then goes away and she's fine.

You should go to your doctor just to get checked over, esp. if it happens a lot, but I would say there's no need to worry.

Flashing lights are a symptom of migraine, but is doesn't mean you definatley get the pain associated with migraine.

Yes, I agree that this is an ocular Migraine. The most common cause of this is poor blood flow Do get your blood checked for cirulation problems. . had these often before a stroke

yes it is normal it is called a silent migraine,but if it is new to you i would recommend you speak to your doctor,take care.
