The following are my Suggestions for people who discuss
Inter-Religious Topics (these refect my personal thoughts
upon this matter):
1. Share, but Not Preach
2. Discuss, but Not Debate
3. Respect Others, in order to Be Respected
4. Tolerate, in order to Be Tolerated
5. Learn, in order to Teach
6. Teach, in order to Correct
7. Correct, in order to Witness
Peace be with you, and God Bless.

A religion is only a true religion if it is creating tollerance between people. So if a religion is not tollerant to people of other religion it is not a true religion.
In christianity the basic values are: tollerence, love and peace for every humen being without any diffrence."Jesus said: "love your father and mother, your friends and your ennemies"
Also in the Koran we find the same values.
In Buddhism the basic values are: loving-kindness, compassion for all living beings without any restrictions.
Also in Hinduism we see these values, because we all are interrelated with each other and if we harm anybody else, we harm in the end our self much more.
So all religions are based on the same principles. All rreal religions want to destroy the destructive emotions who are in the behaviour of the people.
The difference between the religions is not that one is better than an other. But there are diffrent people in this world with different charactors, diffrent cultural background and education,... and so there are also different religions. But in the basic they has all the same goal.
So if somebody is not religious tolerant, we is not practising his relgion very well and let still guide his behaviour by hate, jaleousy and delusion.

I think for the most part, no intolerance is a good thing.
And I have no problem being tolerant of others beliefs. But then that's because I don't have a view that my beliefs are the 'right' ones.
I quite understand that some people's beliefs are that anyone else is just plain wrong. That there is only one path to God. I just don't happen to agree.
Sometimes it's a difficult position to reconcile - being open to someone who believes that what you think is wrong (or even 'evil'). But I guess as long as it goes no further than words I can live with that.

I've said this before heaps of times, so forgive me if I am getting boring.
All truth comes from God. Every religion has some truths that are unique to it, which others can learn from and benefit by, therefore, it is showing respect to God by respecting other people's religious beliefs.
Religious tolerance is a beautiful thing. If other people did not tolerate me as a Mormon, I could never attend their meetings, be friends with them, watch their DVDs, learn from them, and thus develop a greater respect and love for mankind, and for the beautiful truths revealed to all mankind from my Heavenly Father.
There is never any Divinely appointed need to denigrate another person's faith. God rewards people for living by their own consciences. Faith is a personal attribute that makes a person more receptive to God. The more things a person is willing to have faith in, the more truth God can reveal to them. It is unbelief, fear and pride that makes people do or say hurtful things to other people.

I've never cared much for the word tolerance. I tolerate things that I don't like but can't do much about for whatever reason.
I accept religious beliefs (even if I disagree completely) as long as those religious beliefs do not become a liability to the larger society. For example, the current tension between society which by and large accepts homosexuality and the monotheistic faiths whose ancient books condemn it.

It's talked about, but not many people actually practice religious tolerance. The world would be a far better place if more people respected the practice of religions other than their own.

True religious tolerance can only be achieved when people seek out similarities in others, rather than always going for the throat, seeking out differences and making a big, unnecessary deal about them. Almighty God created humanity to be diverse to learn from each other, not to despise and hate one another.

Atheism and agnosticism are not belief systems in and of themselves. People who identify as atheists or as agnostics might be very tolerant or they might be very close-minded. Anyway, those are not religions and must be left off of your list. Or you need to re-phrase the question considerably. Of the religions listed, the Abrahamic faiths (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) are the least tolerant. Of those, Islam least of all. The rest are relatively tolerant, including Satanism, if by that you mean LeVeyan Satanism and not some imagined religion of actual Satan worshipers.

The thing we have to be more than tolerant. If we want true understanding and real peace then we have to understand God is one With many Names (Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc.) and has sent different representatives or appeared Himself at different times, places and circumstances to reestablish the Truth. He gives diffract aspects of Himself due to the general populace at the time and what they are ready for. For those who are not ready for God yet He even appeared as Lord Buddha to trick the atheists in believing in Him. He said he was an ordinary man and there is no God. So they would follow Him. In this way they could merge with His energy being they would no be inclined to serve. He is so tolerant of us and unlimited merciful. So we should try to emulate that. For info on world peace (the world relief network) go to stephen-knapp.co. Amazing site.

From what I have seen on this forum by a lot.... there is not.
There is a lot of tongue and cheek holier then thous that tell those of us with faith that have questions of other beliefs and faiths that we are evil.
There is in my opinion no such thing as religious tolerance. Just stupidity of the ignorant and closed minds of different possibilities.
But this is just my opinion, thought and feelings,
Sam
