i want to not fry my hair.i mean who does? but inow can afford a good one!

GHD irons come out with striaghtening as well as cruling irons... Best on the market but pricey!

Another option for you that you could try is what is called a hot air brush. It has some characteristics similar to a curling iron but can go thru short hair real good. You can find some really good ones over at Sally's Beauty Supply if there's one in your area or some of the other stores like Penney's. I don't know if Wal-Mart has any but the last time I checked I only saw just curling irons.
