my toyota vios for 1 year got an oil leak on the oil pan reserve. the toyota mechanic refill oil and put a sealant. is that problem normal to all cars? i have not experienced it with my other vehicles.

yes gasket leaks are normal because they age and become hard. they are suppose to be soft. when they harden they leak. they also may loosen up over time and leak. even for a car that is only 1 year old

No that is way too soon. I would guess the original seal was defective. Hopefully though a replacement will fix it. Its slightly possible that its a defective oil pan...but chances are tiny.
