It depends on the weapon system. Other armies are not in awe of the M1A2, the stryker or the M-16 for example. Some countries also have their version of the land warrior system. The U.S. allies can operate at night just as well and the U.S. army. The U.S. infantry gets by on size and the fact that the soldier could be from other countries and speak different languages and some can bring in different engineering skills. The average U.S. soldier is probably generally smarter too.

Russia is not nearly as technically capable as the US military. China either. Technology is important when you can't out force the other guy, you can't rely on being able to wear out the other side. The most advanced infantry is probably the Isaeli army, they have many enemies and very few people, the whole country has about as many people as Brooklyn. So they have to rely on more advanced technology. However, the US military has the greatest reach of any military power in history, in terms of satellites and advanced communications systems, so it's a close tie.

this question is really open to interpretation. As develop into reported "military" traditionally ability floor forces. yet i'd quite ought to assert that it surely relies upon on what type of strive against you're searching at. Israel has between the superb educated armies contained in the international yet is held lower back with the help of its length. China has between the most populous armies contained in the international, yet isn't the most distinctly educated. u . s . a . has between the most technologically stepped ahead and nicely rounded armies. you also ought to comprehend that diverse international locations prepare their armies for diverse circumstances. Take operating example the u . s . a .. Our military develop into educated to strive against a soviet risk up till purely those days, subsequently confronted issues at the same time as it got here to a counter-insurgency operation. you should comprehend that a protection force is not purely foot infantrymen and gentle infantry. also you should comprehend that a lot of human beings evaluate a protection force to be a rustic's finished defense force. Please make sparkling your question so that you could recieve a extra effective reaction.

I concur, another thumbs up to SPC Burn It.
While the "Land Warrior" program can be touted as proof positive that the United States Army is at the forefront of equipping individual warfighters (see http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/land-warrior.htm ), overall the Israelis are better at fielding practical innovations down to the individual level. No one is as practical and flexible on all levels, from procurement to tactics, as the IDF.
EDIT: All readers should note that "edmoney" above is not a Marine, nor is he even military. He is a civilian and a wannabe. For confirmation:

Therefore, all servicemembers, veterans, and others associated with the military in any way should refrain from any gratuitous Marine Corps or Army bashing (not that it makes sense to engage in that sort of stupidity to begin with).

pretty much. the us has constantly and steadily been developing their military technology over the years, and their arsenal is one to envy.
however, there are many other countries out there who keep their military developments under lock and key, unlike the us which regularly displays what it has.
i am not saying that the us lets the world know exactly what is in it's arms stockpile, or that it does not have any tricks up its sleeve, but the fact of the matter is that the us is more liberal with information about its military might than rival nations.
so, yes, they are currently the most technologically advanced, but do not be surprised if russia, india, korea or japan one day reveals an arsenal superior to theirs.

it really depends on the training, the weapons and the protection, like some people said,u.s army is advanced, but in that part of the region only,in south east Asia,it was confirm that Singapore had the most technological advance army in the south east region,it had to be,its size is small,so it has to depend on technology,Israel is also another hi-tech army, but in the middle east region only
