"Bob" is someone whom I work with, and he quite a bit older then I am, 8 years to be precise.
His behavior is becoming rather exasperating. (clandestine touching, sexual remarks etc.)
It's just that I do not know how to deal with such a situation, not having a boyfriend, but mostly because such a situation has never occurred with me, and his advanced age makes him even more intimidating.

easily do this: tell him that if he wont stop then you will talk to the manager, and then he will face the consequences since he is sexually harassing you. You can also threaten to file a report with the police for assault, if he touches you without permission. He wont go to jail but if he has a report on file and you call the cops again - if he tries to touch you again- then he is in more complicated legal consequences. He can end up in prison. CHances are he has been told this before.

the way you deal with these people is to be straight up and honest; do not hesitate nor think that it is mean. It is ok to curse him out and scream and get upset when he does it at work. It will cause a scene but more than likely everyone will be on your side and he will look really badly.

If you feel uncomfortable in the way hes treating you, tell someone else, so that others know of his behavior so that you have someone to back you up(very important if it goes to court) and also talk to him about it. if he does not stop, tell your boss that youd like to file a sexual harasment charge against him. this is a very serious matter, and can have negative effects on the mind if not taken care of. time is of the essence, be proactive, and don't become a victim.

Please report his behavior to your supervisor or boss immediately. It's totally inappropriate for work. He has no right to invade your personal space, and this IS sexual harassment. You have no idea if this creep will follow you home one day, or assault you even further in the workplace. Something like this happened to my mother a few years ago at her former job, and she reported it right away. In today's society, you can't take things like this lightly. Don't be afraid to speak with your boss about this, if they don't do anything about it, contact your local police station and file a report. You might not be the only one he's harassing, but you can save yourself and others by reporting him.

Tell him that if he makes one more inappropriate remark or puts his hands on you again, that you will be filing sexual harassment charges. If there is a supervisor in the office, tell your supervisor that this man is making you very uncomfortable by acting inappropriate. If the supervisor does not take action, get an attorney.

Tell him to stop! If he continues then it should be reported to your boss. File a sexual harassment charge against him. there are laws against that kind of behavior.

sexual harassment is a huge deal in the workplace, say the word to human resources and he'll regret the day he looked in your direction. if you want to give him a chance, tell him straight out your not comfortable with it and would like him to stop and you'd rather not go to HR with it but if he makes you, let him know your not scared to. The law is on your side, its unacceptable and wrong.

Hey there I would say to tell him to stop I remember that happening to me also when I was your age. I hated it too men seem to do that and think it is just innocent when I thought just leave me alone. I would just be firm and say look your remarks and touching is bothering me so just stop. If you dont want to do that just ignore him if you can then he might just get the picture. Sorry its happening to you. Good Luck.

Unbelieveable.. everyone is ready to jump off the deep end on this one. Why not just try to talk to him first? He can consider it a warning. If he values his job (as he should.. they aren't easy to find anymore) he'll stop. If it continues, escalate the issue to management.
