I nth the commentary. I always go out to eat after each of my sessions, and alcohol is pretty much always involved.

You might not want to get too plastered; bouncing off of things & people with a new tattoo isn't that good of an idea. :)

no there is no problem with drinking after you get a tattoo.... I did. The reason that you are not allowed to drink when you get tattooed is that it thins the blood and can make you bleed more also you are not legally able to make decisions affecting your life after drinking ( which makes the consent waver that you sign before getting your tattoo not legally binding on you and in a sense your getting a tat with out giving your consent......Which for a tat place is bad.) LOL enjoy your new tat and don't get it wet like someone else suggested...... it will make the color bleed out of your skin.

Ive gotten pretty drunk after a lot of my tatts - BUT you might want to think about this:
Drinking causes your blood to thin, causing you to bleed more from the tattoo.
Also, I agree with what the others here said, you dont want to get so wasted that you run into things with the tatt!

yes, go ahead and drink.

you have absolutly nothing to worry about..

The only reason you cant get one done while drunk or drinking is the fact that the tattoo parlors dont want to take a chance of being sued if for some reason you change your mind about it and use the "I was drunk therefor had no idea what i was doing" excuse..
