I actually love it. It's a traditional name, but still rare enough to sound "different" without being freaky.
It's from the Latin for "crow" or "raven", and was originally a nickname for someone with glossy black hair.

I really like it because it is not heard or used very often and it is not one of those 'unique" names that the child will despise you for in the future (like the weird names famous people are giving their children)..
Corbin is one of the best boy names i have heard anyone consider in a long time...

My cousin named his son Corbin and it suits him....he is the biggest dork I have ever met.
