While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school, I was interrupted by a little girl about 6 years old. Looking up and down at my uniform,

She asked, "Are you a cop?" Yes," I answered and continued writing the report. "My mother said if I ever needed help I should ask the police. Is that right? "Yes, that's right," I told her. "Well, then," she said as she extended her foot toward me, "would you please tie my shoe?"

I'm a student living in Sydney, so my view may not be as innocent as a child, but I have come to respect the values of the police force and what it stands for.

When I was younger, I was lead to believe that cops were role models, the fighters for justice and helping out the little folks. Now in the final years of my teens, I have seen how media portrays the police in both lights.

Police have it bad in the sense that they have to deal with all the crap that's dealt their way, life threatening situations and such, and to deal with the backlash of a few screw ups and corrupted officers.

True and honest cops are true role models and should be more widely respected.

If you hate cops, chances are (and I know not in all cases, with racism and ****) that the reason is because they were trying to do their job.

very cute, I got one for you.

I bbsit for a state trooper, one day he came home laughing, I had to ask what was up. He said he pulled over a man with two boys in the back seat. As he walked up to the car, the man rolled down his window, and the trooper heared two little voices " bad boys bad boys, whatha gonna do whacha gonna do when they come for you!" The father was trying to get them to bequiet, but the trooper just laughed so hard he couldnt write the warning, he just had to force out between the laughter that his taillight had been out.

Your question made me bypass "aaw" out loud, and there's no human being the following. i'm hoping you defined to the boy that the dogs is a staggering dogs and helps you locate undesirable adult adult males. I wager those were just about your accurate words. Say hi to Jake, and save up the solid paintings.

lol.. thats cute... are you really a cop or did you just want to tell a little story??

When I was a kid, I used to think that policemen were smart, and fair and could help you at all times.

When I was a teenager, I found that cops (or at least the ones I dealt with) are *****!!!!!!!!!

Now that I'm an adult, it can go both ways.

I had a car accident with my son in the car when he was 4. No one was hurt, but when the state trooper got there my son ran up to him and said " Are you gonna shoot us?"
