Well in German you can say what in English is always "I love you" in different ways depending on who you're talking to and how you love them.

romantic love, normal relationship "Ich liebe dich"
romantic love, polyamorous relationship "Ich liebe euch"
romantic love, love slave to master "Ich liebe Sie"
platonic love, to one person "Ich habe dich Lieb"
platonic love, to two people "Ich habe euch Lieb"
platonic love, to someone not in your family and of higher status (example, child to teacher) "Ich habe Sie Lieb"

I'd love to know what all the distinctions Indonesian makes are!
