I have to have my closet doors closed.
I only sleep in something 100% cotton.
I use lots of pillows.
Sometimes I need noise and I have a noise maker and I like the rain noise.
I like it as dark as possible.
My body time clock is 3 am to 10 am
I like my puppy snuggled up next to me.
If the bedding is messed up I have to get up and make it right.

Have you ever heard of the Fairy Tale of the Princess and the pea? Well, a prince was looking for a princess, yet his mother said, how will we know if she is a real princess. So, when a woman presented herself as a princess, they would prepair a bed with a pea in the middle of it. Then they piled up a dozen matresses on it. And when the woman slept on the bed comfortable they knew she was not a princess. only a princess would be so used to comfort that she would feel the pea. Eventually a princess came and stayed the night. When asked if she slept well, she said no, because there was a lump on the bed. Thus, she was the princess who married the prince.

ok. sorry..long story to explain that if there were a pea or a wrinkle on my bed I would feel it. I am not a princess, but I like a comfortable bed.

I often sleep with one upper arm standing straight up, perpendicular to the bed, elbow and upper arm resting on the bed, with my wrist relaxed. I can't believe it is comfortable when I look at it, but it is.
Sometimes I find myself with one or both of my hands curled toward my forearms, with my fingers (back of my hand side) against my chest, as if trying to stretch my wrist.
I have REM Behavioral Sleep Disorder and have hit my wife three times during dreams of hitting someone else. Thankfully I've never really connected when I've done it. This disorder is when your body is not properly paralyzed during dreams, so you actually end up acting out what you are dreaming, which you're not supposed to do beyond twitching.

BTW I find these all as bizarre as any of you reading them.

I can only sleep on my right side and I have to face away from my boyfriend even if it means putting my head by his feet once he falls asleep. I too also need a blanket, and I get really paranoyed if it's quiet so I always play music (my roomate hates it)
