My husband and I will get takeout maybe once a month. I cook every night, last night it was pecan crusted chicken breast and a seasoned rice (out of a box) and steamed broccoli. It was a typical night, I use a lot of chicken breast and pork loin, they are easy, and can be interchangeable in most recipes, like chicken or pork chow mein, and chicken or pork scallopini. Not to mention I can get dinner on the table rather quickly. I make one italian dish usually in one week, then I'll do a mexican night the following week. I also make homemade pizzas every other Friday night. I reheat leftovers or do a standard goulash when I'm having a not so creative day or I just don't feel like cooking.

I cook most nights. Often I work late and I find it easier to make something myself or reheat something from the freezer than go out or get take out. I live by myself so I get to cook whatever I want. Its also much healthier. When I eat out I splurge but I prefer to cook for my frriends at home.
I like to cook all different things, stir frys, casseroles and soups are a favourite now the weather is getting colder. I do love a good steak too!

We almost never eat out. My husband and I have a 3 year old son and a nearly two year old son. A) we can't afford it! and B) we can't really enjoy our meals out with the kids in case they start misbehaving (as toddlers often do!). If we do go out, it's alone (on a date) and is usually only once a month or so.

As for what we cook--I try to stick with "basic" foods--pork chops, ground beef, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pasta, rice, etc. I don't usually make overly spicy foods because it's too hot for the kids to eat, but I do love garlic, onions, most herbs, etc. I have about a billion recipes (all the meats/starches mentioned above are very versatile!) so if you want some recipes, just email me. :)

I cook 6 times a week. We usually go out to eat on Sunday after church. Sometimes I struggle finding things to make,(my husband will only potatoes, carrots when cooked in a roast, and fresh green beans out of my garden). I do a lot chicken, (which I marinate), pork and beef.

I cook about 5 days a week. Typically steak or chicken, canned veggies of some kind and buttered pasta or baked potatoes.

I don't because I am working. I cooked only on weekends.
A soup, fried/steam fish, chicken, fried some vegetables that's my dinner.
