I have come to the conclusion that it is. Sex is a gift, given by God, so that we can better understand the joy and love that He has in us. And the only one who is intended to deliver that gift to us is our husband or wife. (yes that means you must be married too) .. just as the only one intended to give us spiritual wholeness and salvation, is God. Its misusing the gift. Its being self reliant. Just as if we were to reject Gods teachings and be self reliant for spiritual wholeness and salvation.
Its not how God intended it to be.
Shoot, this has been a struggle for me for a long time, and it still is. Thank God for his forgiveness.

I'm a Christian and I wish to help you answer your own question. Okay?
Question:
If you were never to masterbate again, would you then be sinless?
If yes, then you'd better stop. If no, then what is the real point to the Christian faith? Is it not trusting God? Isn't that the point of Jesus fulfilling the Law
? That he was the only one who could and we cannot? And IF that's true then wouldn't it be impossible to stop sinning? I mean, we are sinners, so what does that mean?
I think that it's much more important to spend most of your time with God, all of it if possible, and sin will be forgiven, as long as you trust him.

The only passage is the Bible that can be linked to that issue is the one that states that it is a sin for a man to spill his seed upon the ground (on purpose obviously). And, in all honesty I don't know if masturbation is what is being referred to in that instance or the prevention of pregnancy. If it is...what about women? Would it be a sin for them as well then? Your guess is as good as mine. Apparently it was not a big issue or God would have made it much clearer.

I have never seen in the Christian religion any commandment that says it is a sin. Now in my religion is does say about self pleasing being bad.

I've learned that in most religions, pretty much everything enjoyable is a sin. I guess the point is that if you're bored and miserable your whole life you get into heaven.
Personally, we really don't know if heaven or hell even exist, so I think I'll enjoy myself while I'm alive.

I have to say that lust is a sin. Masturbation isn't mentioned in the Bible.

I think so because Jesus said that if you look at another woman with lust then it's the same as adultery.
Of course he didn't mention looking at another man, so I'm probably okay.
