Two objections:

1. Slap yourself for not being able to detect a scam despite how publicized Nigerian scams are; then ignore the letter.

2. Send them the money. After you are cheated go write "Jackass" on your forehead and dress like a donkey

Keep away from these offers. They are working on the gullibility of their would be victims. if you have $ 1700 to spare start your own business in India. You will be better off.

get in touch with the Nigerian Embassy and find out if the amount of money demanded is correct.if it is OK then you may go ahead.
