I want to get a memorial tat of a ladybugfor my dad between my shoulder blades, is that a good spot?? Also, what are some good ideas to put behind/around the ladybug? I want it to say rip and the dates, etc.. any ideas would be appreciated!!

as long as that is where you want it then it is a good idea. i would put the ladybug on a leaf so it won't seem just floating there. not sure about what else, i'm not a fan of words in tattoos. my memorial tattoo doesn't have any dates or letters in it. but maybe your artist could work out something that would look like it fit.

yea dude my friend just got one in the middle of his shoulder blades, and its the best location to get one IMO. He also got one dedicated to his dad, of a ornate cross with alot of intricate detail involved. Ornate and ladybug don't really go together, however, so I dont know what to tell u design-wise. Just really think it through and sketch some rough drafts until u think youve got it right.

no tattoo is necessary. there are health risks involved and further more they are just so gross.sorry about your dad but there are so many other ways to remember him e.g.paint mural on a wall instead of on your skin.
