I'm sorry about the loss of your poochy poo. Sometimes the warning signs that your dog is thinking of suicide are too subtle, but they usually include:
Uncovering old stashes of treats and eating them without a care.
Barks have lost their pizazz, but when they do bark, it's often about death
Tail wagging less -- sometimes not at all
Tongue only hangs out sometimes
Gives away favorite chew toys to other dogs

Yeah, I hear it is becoming more and more of an issue, especially in areas that have lots of 'doggie daycares'.....you know, keeping up with the Jone's....maybe another doggie was makin' fun of your dog, or maybe your dog didn't commit suicide, but it was Canicide. I'd check out neighboring dogs, and if they look guilty.....well.....you KNOW.

Dogs can't committed suicide they can't leave a letter saying what is for what, they can't write. How could you prevented it? by not getting a dog.

Actually...animals can and do commit suicide...due to sadness. They will simply refuse to eat or drink and do their normal activities.
So YES you could have prevented it. You should have loved your dog.

You could have prevented it by not getting a dog ! Next time get a stuffed animal.

Dogs don't commit suicide. They just have bad owners that don't pay attention to them. You are sick

I'm sure dogs don't commit suicide. They don't sit down and think, "Hmm I think I'm gonna go die because my life sucks." They don't even know death exists probably.
