I don't believe in ghosts. I believe those apparitions are demonic and I believe they show up to deceive people into thinking that they don't go to either heaven or hell when they die.
I believe God has His angels on assignment all over the world. I also believe that born-again Christians help to mobilize these angels through our prayers and spiritual warfare.

There is no such thing.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

When you die, there is nothing that departs and goes wandering off.
Adam was created ' a soul', he was NOT 'given one'.
animals also ARE souls.
(Genesis 1:20) And God went on to say: “Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls and let flying creatures fly over the earth upon the face of the expanse of the heavens.”

They ARE souls, they do not HAVE souls.

(Ezekiel 18:4) Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.

If a soul can die, it cannot be a spiritual thing that is eternal.

A soul is the combination of dust and God's spirit or the life that a person has and when a person dies the soul dies. That is what the Bible teaches.
