Both with the same magnitude of karma, and I believe that would be in accordance with their dharma (duties) too.
Practically speaking, just having faith in God and not knowing what you are doing should not ever allow you to get near to God. But being closer to God does not mean, physically being closer to the supernatural, or anything like that. It just means satisfying your souls, realizing your spirituallity. Hence since ones, karma's are good, he would be close to God, doesn't matter if he has gyan or not, cos he would be in total peace with himself.
The person with gyan would be knowing what he is doing. He would be following the right paths because of gyan. Just because he doesn't have faith in God, does not mean that he cannot enjoy being in total peace with himself. Cos his karma's are high, he would experience the same bliss.
Karma's, with accordance to 'Dharma' is the pathway to God. It doesn't matter if you knowingly follow the path or unknowingly follow it, it would lead to the same destination. It doesn't matter whther you believe in what your destination is. Since the path is the same, just because faiths are different, the destination won't change.
All the best...

Actually neither. Hiduism believes that every soul(Athma) is divine in origin. All souls are equal, irrespective of the fact whether it dwells in a bird, an animal or a human being. Even in humans there is no distinction between man or woman, rich or poor and learned or illiterate. If one understands the real truth of God's creation, then the knowledge will dawn on him that all are one and the same. In fact there is no "others" as per Hindu philosophy. The same God dwells in each and every living creature.

Neither.
Karmas are not bringing anyone closer to God.
Recognizing that you have broken God's law and accepting his Son's sacrifice and repenting (turning away from) your sin is the only way to become closer to God.
Think your a good person (many karmas)?
Take the test below.

In the Bhagavad gita 7.16, Lord Sri Krishna says that four kinds of people begin to become devotees,
O best among the Bharatas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me
1) the distressed,
2) the desirer of wealth,
3) the inquisitive, and
4) he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute.
In the next verse, Lord Sri Krishna says that the fourth person is best of the four;
Of these, the one who is in full knowledge and who is always engaged in pure devotional service is the best. For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me.

God wants us to be knowledgeable about him. Learn about him and his son from the Bible. Not get tied up in traditional practices.
(Matthew 15:3) In reply he said to them: “Why is it YOU also overstep the commandment of God because of YOUR tradition?
(Matthew 15:6) he must not honor his father at all.’ And so YOU have made the word of God invalid because of YOUR tradition.
