MP3 has no DRM, so no idea what you're talking about. There's DRM for WMA, AAC, and other stuff, but there's no DRM for MP3.

I sometimes use spyspiv method, but instead of burning to a CD I burn it as an image on the hard drive then mount it with Daemon Tools, before ripping it again. Microsofts MediaPlayer has copy protection on by default, you can turn this off before ripping. Or use a program called Audiograbber (it's free), to do a better job of it.

No, but you always can rip a song by getting a Cdplayer and hooking the headset output to the line in or microphone port of your computer and calibrateing the volume. Need software that will record to mp3 from Line in, or microphone port

donno a program that can do that but the trick everyone uses is to burn the mp3s to a CD then import them as audio. costs ya a CD but if its good enough to listen to then you could just throw it in your car from when you forget your CD book (happens to me sometimes).
