If you speak a foreign language at home would it be wise to major in it to get a better grade or minor to know how to write well or would it be stupid not to major in your native language since you can learn about where your family comes from and learn about culture?

minor. the classes are usually harder than you would expect, even if you are fluent, plus, why major in a language? you should major in an area that will better help you get a career.

well, if you already speak it, i suggest maybe minor in it. you could take a different language as your major if you're really into languages
