My friend has social phobia and claustrophobia. He avoids many situations because they give him panic attacks and extreme anxiety. He is planning on spending almost $600 for four sessions of hypnotherapy to cure it. Will hypnotherapy cure this? I thought hypnotherapy was more for weight loss and smoking. I don't want him to spend $600 for nothing. Thanks!

It very well could, it depends on what the person he is getting it from says and their history of hypnotherapy. Make sure he does a lot of research to find out if this person is reliable... I did hypnotherapy because I couldnt stand to recieve gifts and I hated my bday...now Im better with things like that.. so, it does cure things other than weight loss and smoking. I hope all goes well..

Hypnotherapy is not used near as often as it should be. Get a book and reed up on it. $600 is a small price to pay to get your life back. I love hypnoses and was able to cure my wife of a life long allergy to cats. No more red whelps and swollen eyes. Its tricky so don't try it before you know what you are doing. Don't worry about the $600 bucks. Don't give up after the first treatment. It may take 2 or more would expect for the same $600.
