It is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, there is absolutely no consensus of what it really means. Ask 100 Theologians, get 100 different answers. by the way I don't believe that most or all of the Bible is like this, it's just that no one knows, and no one can be sure what it really means. It is not mentioned anywhere else in the bible, and the passage in question does not explain. There is no other reference, that I know of, in contemporary literature that references either.....so......mystery.

Theologically, there is only one way to blaspheme the Holy Spirit: by ascribing to Satan what the Holy Spirit has done. When a person, will full knowledge and understanding, rejects God's call to righteousness, the person has committed the unforgivable sin. When one rejects God's call for repentance, brought about by the Holy Spirit, the person is in effect saying that they know better than God. This is the very first sin to which Adam and Eve succumbed.
Scholars are divided as to whether it is possible for a person to be able to commit the unforgivable sin. For example, doctrines such as Calvinism hold that God's call to redemptive grace is irresistible, so no one could actually blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

It is blaspheming the holy spirit. There are two ways to do it
One is to give credit to an evil entity for a good work that has been done by the holy spirit and i think is forgivable.
The other is for God's elect to refuse to repeat what the holy spirit puts in their mind when brought up before the synagogue of satan ,but instead says something else. This kind of blasphemy is unforgivable ever. This I believe can only be committed by God's elect and only when satan is on earth pretending to be Christ / God. your documentation is Mark , chapter 13 starting with verse 11.

Yes, there is one sin that cannot be forgiven and that is the sin of unbelief.
If one is never saved..never comes to salvation knowledge, never asks the Lord into their heart and they die, it is to late. There is no forgiveness after the fact.
Some will tell you that blaspheme cannot be forgiven, but that was before Yashua's death, burial, and resurrection.
Say for instance, I have had every opportunity to come to the Lord. I have heard the gospel message on the radio, on television, and there is a church within walking distance of my home, I have spent time in Christian groups on line and even in Yahoo Answers/religion & spirituality. I have heard that Yashua, Christ Jesus death was a sacrifice for me,and that by His blood alone I could be forgiven my sins - all I have to do is believe...but I refused to listen. I reject His offer of eternal life...and I die. How then can I have another chance? How can I go back and believe? How then can I ask His forgivness of my sins? What second chance do I have? None.
The unforgivable sin is unbelief.

God forgives everything provided the person repents. Both Bible and Qur'an agree that there is one unpardonable sin and that would be associating partners to God. But there is an example of such action being forgiven because people of Israel stopped worshipping golden calf and repented. All one has to do is seek forgiveness with a clean heart to feel His mercy.

According to the bible the only unforgiveable sin is to blaspheme the holy ghost.
A real life modern day example is to say the following, " I deny the holy ghost, there is no holy ghost."
Say it three times and click your heels together, and join the unforgiveables.

When I was young,I took instructions to become a catholic and the Priest told me that the one unforgivable sin was taking your own life and would be doomed to hell, I believed it for many years until I talked to a minister who told me and showed me that Jesus said that" who so ever believes in me shall not perish" So, I would take that for meaning there is no unforgivable sin.!

The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Based on the role of the Holy Spirit in the Bible, he promotes Jesus, directs us to Jesus, and teaches us and reminds us of the words Jesus taught us.
To blaspheme the Holy Spirit is to deny the One that He directs us to.
(See John 14:26; 15:26; 16:13-15)

Yea, Denouncing the holy spirit. According to the christians this is the big no-no. actualy it is rather funny that this all powerfull god, would have to send you to hell for somthing that he already knew that you were going to do. This kind of blows the god is all knowing and all loving theory out of the water since if he was all knowing then he would have known before he created you that he was going to send you to hell. Now if he were to create you anyway knowing that you were going to hell then he would not be all loving becouse he is sending you to eternal torment becouse it was predetermined. This leads to the question of the free will of god . Anyway go to the blasphemy challenge and see if you are prisoner of christian dogma.
