There surely is a difference right. I'm not good with technology. Please help. Thank you very much

I have answered this before, and there are literally only two differences. For one, they have very slightly different remote controls. Secondly, they are different colors. I know this sounds ridiculous, but its the truth, I went to their website and compared them spec to spec, and these are the only differences. Same engine, same everything else.

the last number is the series of the xbr line . the higher the number the newer the series so the xbr2 is the oldest series of the xbr line id go with the highest number you can find , ithink the 5 is the newest. they have better options and newer picture quality technology. im not sure exactly what they upgrades are . youd have to consult sony or some where you can get better info on them . hoped i helped good luck

I haven't read up on the specs of the xbr3, however I used to sell the xbr2 at circuit city. the xbr3 is new and is going to have improved picture engines in it and also a better picture. However, the xbr2 has a great picture. And you can probably get it much cheaper than the xbr3. Also the xbr3 probably has more hdmi inputs.
