Are there any sites that are free to figure out what you would net after taxes on you pay

It depends on how many deductions you claim during the year. If you claim zero dependents they will take out more during the year; however, you will see a larger refund when you file taxes the following year. If you claim, for example, one dependent being yourself they will take a smaller percentage during the year but you risk the chance that you may have to pay something back the following year. If you are married they will take less during the year, and if you are single they will take more.

For clarity purposes, the government typically takes all of the taxes that you pay in and your won't start getting any of it back until approximately July of every year on the average.

look at the pay stub where it will tell U how much is taken out each pay period
