Im 50 yrs old and just went threw a IVP ..I have a very large imbedded stone in the uper quads of my left kidney along wit 2 other mstones in the middle quads of my left kidney.My left kidey was very ,very slow in showing void of the dye. I work in a factory and on my jab I am lifting 25 - 50 lbs and pulling weights of up to 150 lbs. Will working untill they are removed hurting me and/or my kidney farther.

UPDATE...my largest stone is 1 inch by alittle over 1inch. I have been fighting infections for over 2 months now and have been passing bloody pus when urinating. I am to go to a hospital in Indiana to have them removed by mico surgery this week or next (still waiting on hospital to set up.I was hospitalized in a local hospital and given iv anitibiotics and a stent was placed in left uretha. Should I try and go back to work or should I reamin on leave?

No - if they are embedded in the kidney, they will tend not to move and will not cause any damage to the kidney if you are lifting heavy objects.

However, the fact that they are there might give rise to urinary infections and it may make it harder to eradicate these infections with antibiotics.
