Let me try to sum it up...
My friend told her best friend about me, I showed interest which led her to do that. So I sent over an e-mail, she sent one back. It's really only been two days of swapping e-mails but its been for one or two hours straight a night. Now my question is, would it be ok to swap numbers with her having a boyfriend of two months who she makes it sound like she's not too sure about? Is it too early to do this or should I keep it only emails. I have no intentions of breaking them up, but just get to know her better. Should I ask for a number?

Hey whats the worst that could happen? If you don't act now she may just stay with the guy she is with because she may feel like she wont be able to find anyone else. Anyways life is about taking chances. Don't live in regret just get her number. And if she asks why just say you dont like computers and you like phones better, and is she says, no I have a boyfriend i cant, then just say, wow he doesnt trust you enough to let you talk on the phone with friends, he must get juelous easy. She will ponder this and eventually give you her number.

I wouldn't like it. It's ok to have friends, but to exchange numbers with females just spells trouble. My boyfriend and I already disclosed our friends to one another so anyone new...raises eyebrows. Suppose one of the females decide to text or leave a message that you may end up seeing and not like, it can cause confusion and it's just not worth it.

Unless you wanna get into a cheating situation, don't do that.

Wait till she's single, guy. Don't be a douchebag sneaking around somebody's back.

Plus, think of it this way......if she's willing to go after you while she's dating someone else, who's to say she wouldn't do the same thing to you if you get together? Get my drift?

And if I was her current boyfriend and found out about it, I'd wanna kick your ***.

So I say back off and if she comes up single, then go for it. Until then, stay back. It's safer and nicer that way

Come on - the only reason you wouldn't fool around with her would be if her BF was bigger than you. If she is emailing you for hours then she's already telling you that you have potential. Get the number

go for her number but try keeping it just friends and nothing romantic. If she breaks up with him later on, yeah make a move if you want to

Hell yeah dude, do it. It's always nice to have extra horses in the stable in case your main mare runs away!
