Elmer's Wood Glue. No! No Gorilla glue! That stuff foams up and makes one hell of a mess! Stick with Elmer's Wood Glue. I used to work in a wood shop, we made wooden stairway ballasters and we used Elmer's Wood Glue there as well, was excellent.

Use Gorilla Glue. It's made for wood expands a little to fill the void left from dried wood and it's available at any home improvement store.

In agree with the Gorilla Glue, it now comes in white and dries clear. Be very careful it is stronger than superglue. Very hard to remove from fingers. It bubbles and expands just enough to fill in a hairline crack. So cool you'll think you are a chemist. A little pricey but so worth it!

Elmer's Carpenter's wood glue. You will have to clamp or weight the joint until it dries. It's great stuff.

Any good wood glue would do it. Try yellow carpenter's glue or that Gorilla glue.

wood glue and something to hold it tight while it drys, something like a vise. If you don't have a vice, try duct taping the area and then clean off the tape resdue wit a wood cleaner.
