Ok today in class this guy I like was talking to one of his friends after I had gotten up and went over to the teacher (I sit right next to the guy I like) and when I came back I heard him say "I'll ask her" then when I sat down they both went quiet and the guy I like smiled at me. What could all this possibly mean?

It could mean millions of things. Our mind sometimes plays tricks on us and if we like someone we will try and find ANY sign of them liking us back and a lot of times we are just being paranoid and hopeful. He could like you he could not. The best thing you could do is to ask him out! People need to stop waiting and actually start living life. Dont live in regret and sadness, go and ask him while you have the chance. Waiting on things like this Never helps it.

It means you like him a lot so you're preoccupied with every little thing he says and you're hoping that it means I'll ask her...if she wants to get married - come on how on Earth are we supposed to know what he wants to ask you

He could be asking permission to land on your helipad if you catch my drift :). Joking aside it could mean a million things, and thats even assuming he is referring to you. Just talk to him, 1000 words may explain the one picture :)

i hate when this happens! but i think you should just try to forget it because it can mean so many things and you will just drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out, i think if he likes you and wants to ask you something then he will do it in his own time! good luck
