Could be mange; more likely it could be a hot spot. It starts with something small like a flea bite and then they just can't let it be, the more they chew and lick at it the worse it gets.
We can't see it. Take him to a vet.

He could be having allergies to something (dogs can be very sensitive to the simplest things) Have you changed anything in your daily routine- carpet cleaner, laundry detergent, dog food, ect. Dogs can have serious reactions to this and can make them really scratchy. He could have fleas,mange, or a hot spot too- you really should call your vet asap to get him in and check out what could be going on with him. Please call the vet for your pets overall health.

Sounds like fleas or some sort of contact dermatitis.
You need to see your vet to determine which it is and to get a topical ointment to treat the hot spot.

its not a parasite because parasites are internal but it mite be fleas, or it mite be skin irrational give your dog a bath and if your dog is still doing it them the best thing to do is to call the vet and ask them what it mite be.

to know if he has parasites or fleas, you will have to examine him. The best place to look is the stomach where it is bare or the tail. Also if you see black things under his hair that is flea poop

yes maybe, sometimes they can get hot spots , skin gets tough, or maybe mange . get him treated before it gets worse.
