I can't help you with home remedies because I doubt any really work...however hair extentions are a great way to have long hair in minutes. You get to pick the length, and whether to have it curl, wavy or straight. It's great for a brand new look and if you don't like it for whatever reason you can just take them out.

Take MSM. I have noticed a difference my hair has grown so much faster than it ever has - so have my nails ( it helps with skin, hair and nail growth) - but it might take a few weeks to notice.

2 months will only give you an extra inch at best. Try extensions.

okay this might sound weird but keep your hair in tight ponytails
have you ever had it when you put your hair up and later it seems to have gotten looser it's because your hair grew out so it can fit comfortably in the pony tail
and add oils to your hair it weighs it down
