Jelly is more of a gelain spread that's made from fruit juice and sugar, jam is made with real fruit rather than fruit juice and is a little less firm than jelly, and preserves are made with large, often whole, pieces of the fruit in them.

Jam has no seeds. Preserves are more fruit like with the seeds still in them. Fruit spread is usually similar to Jam.
The texture is usually the only real difference.

I buy all of them, and I find no difference in the taste. I think Jam and preserves are the healthiest, yet I could be wrong.

I think fruit spread has less sugar. Eat what you like the best, it's not like you eat a jar at a setting. Anything in moderation is fine.
