Ok so I am a big fan of the two-name approach for pets. I have an orange tabby named Miles Davis, named for being just a really "chill cat" and my parent's have a fancy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog named Mr. Darcy. I would go with a sunny blonde name like Sandra Dee or Peggy Sue.

How about Dylan, or Gabrielle (then Gabe for short), or Brienne ( then Bri for short ).
My friend just named her female yellow lab Annie.
