Think of your hair like a sponge. If you keep pouring water onto a wet sponge will it keep absorbing.
The answer is no. The best way to rehydrate dry hair is to use a good shampoo and conditioner. When I say good I don't mean the crap from a supermarket.
Try L'Oreal Professional Intense Repair. Both shampoo and conditioner will run about $40 -$50 but if used correctly will last a lot longer than supermarket brands.
Only wash your hair ever other day or if possible every 3 days unles you have really oily hair. Excess washing causes hair to dry out.
Good Luck

Hi,
you have an interesting inquiry.
keeping your hair wet will likely
get the rest of your body wet as
well as your clothing. a good
amount of water (8 glasses a day)
in your body along with proper
nutrition in terms of healthy foods
will keep your hair hydrated and
healthy.
good luck!

No. I do not believe this is the best way to "hydrate" your hair. I would either try a leave in conditioner for the extra moisture. Or do not wash your hair every day this in itself is drying. Hope this helps!

no, it just keeps your hair wet, not hydrated. Try using a conditioner in the shower, then let your hair air dry.

Ahhh.. don't fall for that. it's not the water. probably the products you're using to wash and condition your hair.
some shampoos actually zap hair dry of moisture rather than does what it says.
Try some organic shampoos and conditioners.
Aubrey Organics Chamomile Shampoo & Conditioners work great.
It's a huge step to take if you're working with ones that still contain chemicals but it'll do wonders for your hair. Trust in that.

I don't think that is really going to do anything. I'd suggest a good deep conditioning moisturizer - like the Sunsilk moisture mask in the pink tub. Then I'd get a towel turbin or wrap up your hair and keep it that way. You may dry out your hair or damage it by always rewetting it.

I don't think it would, because the more wet your hair gets the more it has to try to dry.. and if you keep hydrating it needs to keep trying to dry.
This is why beach girls tend to have less moisturized hair, and people who take showers less have shinier hair (yeah, gross, but true).
I used to live right on the beach but since I moved and don't swim ever anymore my hair is so much more moisturized.

It depends on if it's a conditioning spray or just water. If you just keep spraying it with water, you will end up damaging it. I moisturizing conditioning spray, it will hydrate.
