You need to accept the outcome of the trial and move on.
You can not let this person take any more from you.
You can not let it consume you and rule you.
This event can effect you positively or negatively. It is your choice. You have to get to the place where it gives you strength and makes you a stronger person than you have ever been or thought you would be.
You know he raped you. You don't need anyone else to agree with you.
Move towards a place of acceptance and forgiveness for your own piece of mind.
Know what comes around goes around...............he'll get his in the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You say this was your boss?, Well, depending on the type of company you are/were employed at, they (the company) may be liable under the "Civil" Statutes. Although the Courts didn't achieve the desired results, the evidence might sway a "Civil" Jury and you could possibly be compensated for your pain and suffering, under the Sexual Harassment Laws. A Civil Court works alot different from a Criminal Court as far as the Evidence Chain.
GOD BLESS/GOOD LUCK!!

You dont accept anything, you keep fighting for what you know in your heart is right.. I was drugged, beaten and raped... had evidence and all the facts needed. But since I live in a small town and he is a big somebody it is going nowhere.. I honestly have given up.. and I dont want anyone else to do so, I lost a piece of me that night and everyday I let him get to me I lose more of me.. But take it from me dont give up, I feel I have no choice tho.. Keep your chin up.. good luck

Gotta be a tough thing to do. I am a guy and was raped while in the service long time ago. i could not report it because I would have been dishonorably discharged as gay. I lived with it since. Time heals all wounds and it is better to forgive than hate. hating does not hurt the offender it only hurts you. The hate will come out in all aspects of your life and that means the offender won. Don't let him win?

This is how the legal system works in the US, this happens everyday, I have arrested all sorts of felons, put the handcuffs on them inside the houses they broke into, at the scene of the crime, and lawyers get the evicence thrown out, It is only the evidence that can be used that will be used, so no matter what we know, it is what can be proved with acceptable evidence.
next you can do ( like in the OJ case) sue them in civil courts for monetary damages, not like seeing them setting in a cell block with bubba, but it will get back at them

Yeah and you know what? Let's say this piece of scum was to die suddenly. Who would they go after for the crime? You. And guess what? They would get a conviction then. Ain't that a crock? Even if they had no evidence at all that connected you to it.

I agree, sue in civil court. I think you can also complain to OSHA or some similar government agency about unsafe workplace, sexual harassment, etc. You can make his life a hell on earth even if not in jail.
