Roy. Roy could put combinations better than Floyd and i think Roys unorthodox style would present problems to Mayweather. Roy was the naturally bigger guy (Floyd never being a middleweight) and Roy could match his handspeed with more power. I think Roy's biggest advantage in this matchup though would just be size. Roy's size, speed, and power would lead to him knocking out Mayweather at middleweight. Mayweather wouldn't even fight Winky Wright at middleweight. Floyd won't go past 154 because thats a knockout waiting to happen.

This fight even if it did happen would be disastrous for 3 reasons: Speed, size, and power. Jones Jr. had all of that when he was a middleweight. When Jones Jr. fought at Mayweather's weight it was when he was an amateur. Mayweather would have to first gain the weight to fight which would decrease his KO power(which his best KO power was at 130) I seen all of Jones Jr. fights at Middleweight and there was talent there from the get go. No one in boxing history has all three skills to that level in my opinion. If Jones Jr. never did fight at Heavyweight he would be undefeated as fighter to this day. I see Jones Jr. taking out Mayweather early, this will not go into the later rounds. A total mismatch. Jones KO by 4.

I hope this was a joke. This is like asking if Pacquiao could beat Wright. The size difference is too big first off, second of all, Roy was better than Floyd even in a pound-for-pound sense. Roy was probably the most gifted boxer of all time. Noone in the histroy of the sport had the combination of speed, power, explosiveness, and overall skills that Roy had. Floyd was way too small(never even fought at MW) to even be in the same ring with Roy.

The blogbaba has seen a lot of boxers, well into the thousands, and I have seen a couple hundred champions. In the 40 plus years I have been following boxing, I have never seen hand speed and quickness to match Roy Jones Jr. in his prime. I was lucky enough to be ringside for the Jones/Toney fight. Unearthly fast. Sugar Ray Leonard told me he had never seen speed and quickness like Roy's. Jones was maybe the quickest boxer in history, bar none.

Floyd is good, but not that good, Roy in his prime was unbeatable outside of a perfect shot to the point of the chin, and Floyd lacked Tarvers reach.

Jones wins with ease.

Like almost everyone else said. Roy Jones, in his prime -- too big, and as good as PBF at the same game. Not at all an insult to PBF. Roy Jones' speed was freakish when u consider his size. PBF just wasn't born big enough to be compared with Roy Jones.
(On the speed issue, Roy Jones--definitely one of 2 or 3 fastest. Hard for me to compare fighters with that kinda hand speed. Can't imaging human hands being faster than Ray Leonard's when was in his prime. Same insane mongoose like reflexes as Roy Jones...)

Who cares, both of these gus didn't fight who ever they put in front of them. They picked there opponents VERY carefully! Watch Floyd get his *** handed to him on Saturday, that is if Oscar can catch him from all the running he's gonna be doing!
