Alright, if what you say about god is true, then how come I always use Jesus and god's names in vain, am atheist, ridicule religon and such, why do I have sucha great life? Oh that's right, because only I control what happens in my life! There isn't any ghostly thing doing that for me! So what justifies god?

I've seen what you are going through before. It's really wuite interesting, because you have no need for God. Everything seems to be going your way. . . you probably could even say that you live a well ordered life, doing the things you want to do pretty much when you want to. I'll bet its' fun.

But the truth is that those people such as yourself that have no desire to come to God , and don't need him, he doesn't want either. He doesn't care about you. I'm not just telling you something to bug you, I don't even know you, but those that need God are actually better off.

So the reason why you have it so good is because God doesn't care enough to tribulate you, and look, you don't care either.

Why should there be a "need" to "justify" anything? No matter what, we *must* believe in something, or we have nothing to live for on the morrow. Nothing to get up out of bed for. If we have nothing to believe in, we have nothing to care about. If we have nothing to care about, we will (probably very slowly and very painfully) whither away. Do I need to "justify" that belief before I get out of bed every morning???

No. I just need to believe. In *something*. So, either believe there "is" a "God", or there "isn't". And *believe* that for the day. Tomorrow you can believe something else if you want. That's the beauty of human evolution, eh. ;) To believe is to be alive, in the here and now, facing reality as you know it, and being true to yourself. We are not, as human beings, asked to do anymore than that. Just show up and suit up.

Without belief, we perish.

But we do not need "justification" to stay alive.

I am Pagan (but not Wiccan) btw.

god is with you in spirit form 24/7. He is the one who plans out your life. You can either choose the path he's made for you or you can stray off to the side. Based on what you said, that you had a great life, i suppose that you have helped other people and show compassion toward other? if you have then your on the right track, but if you trust in him, your reward in life will be much more.

If your life is so great, why do you cuss? Why do you feel the need to ridicule others? These are signs of a person who is indeed not happy.

Perhaps it is indeed because you control your life.

God doesnt punish you if your bad. This is a silly myth. For the most part, whatever Gods or spirits are out there just leave us alone unless its of cosmic significance.
