It really depends how much V8 juice you drink and which type. If you have a look at the nutritional labels of the V8 juice bottles, you'd see that the 1.5L bottles of the juice can contain from 600-900 calories. So, if you drink one whole bottle a day, that's 600 calories...which really isn't fasting.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to talk you out of fasting. I'm currently only own diet. 3 months ago I weighed 65kgs and now i'm 52kgs. My aim is to get to 45kgs, but those last few kgs are so hard to budge!
I'm currently on a 600 calorie diet. I eat 600 calories worth of food a day, which is equivalent to 1.5L of V8 juice. I really don't think you'll lose any weight just drinking V8 juice because:
1. It's not solid food. You'll get hungry 5 seconds after drinking it.
2. V8 juice has salt in it. The lack of food, the salt and just drinking water might make your body just retain the water, so you might lose a bit of water weight but you'll look puffier.
3. After fasting you'll just gain the weight back, and more.
Let's say your body needs 2000 calories a day. If you eat 600 calories of food, that means you'll still lose at least 1400 calories a day, which is 180g (7700 calories is on kg).
Example 600 calorie food schedule:
Breakfast
1 piece of toast (90)
1 scrambled egg (90)
1 thin slice of turkey breast (20)
Lunch
2 pieces of bread (180)
Can of tuna (90)
Tbs of low-fat mayonnaise (30)
Dinner
1 hard boiled egg (90)
Salad leafy veges(10)
Balsamic vinegar for dressing (0)
You can still fast if you want, but you won't get long lasting results. It's probably better if you eat a bit of solid food.

its not good for your health, and the next time you eat, your body will store everything as FAT!
so youll be fatter than you already are, why dont you just go outside and exercise?
lazy lazy society these days..
and v8 might have SOME of the nutrients you need, but does not have the calories, an average person needs 2000 calories a day to function properly and maintain weight, so just excercise 40 minutes a day. cardio, jog/run/walk and youl burn up to 800 calories depending on how much you apply yorself. you only get out what you put in

Fast one day week with nothing, just water with or without some lemon.
V8 juice may not agree with every one because of it's hyper acidity. Also why not give a full day of rest and relaxation for your GI system as well.

If you fast for that long your body will grow weak. When you eat again, it'll gobble up the food and gain all that weight back. The maximum you might lose is 1-2 pounds.

whatever weight is lost will be water weight from a reduced carbohydrate intake and will be regained once you resume normal eating habits. for the most part the greater the body fat percentage the greater the decrease in the metabolic rate when the body is in a fasted state

usually when you dont eat for only a day you will just gain it all back the next day. It takes a few days..about 3 to 4 days and you will be loosing weight. I usually fast all week until sat. or sun. then i binge. Then start my week back up. it works for me.
