When I translate :
I will go home so that I do not have to speak to you again.

I come up with :
Iré a casa de modo que no tenga hablarle otra vez.

Is it correct that the "tener" is conjugated into "tenga" in the present subjunctive form?

yup tenga it's well said thats the way you do it on a formal way you can put Iré a casa de modo que no tenga que hablarte otra vez.

but sounds too serious either way

Me voy a mi casa para no tener que volver a hablar contigo, thats another way to say the same

Your conjugation of tener is correct! I have two other concerns with your sentence though:
1) Should it not be "para que no tenga"?
2)Why did you choose "hablarle"? Seems to me it should be "hablar con tigo", or at least "hablarte"
Note that I'm not an expert in Spanish and thus hope that someone who is can give you a better answer.
