Do not use regular soap to cleanse your face. Make sure to use a cleanser for your skin type. Don't rinse with HOT water but warm water. You are only burning your face more and just to warn you that when you use any hot water any hot steam you open up your pores and thats when sometimes you will start to breakout. Regular soap or body soaps are formulated for the body skin type. our face has a different formulation in facial cleansers. After you wash your face you want to close your pores so the oil stays in because oil is what collects dirt and other debris on the surface if it stays in the surface and then gets into the pores this creates some kind of bacteria and you'll start to breakout. So tone so pores are close. Then also moisturize right after. because you just washed and wiped all the moisture off your skin so you need to hydrate it with a moisturizer

Not hot water, your skin will be dry after that. Splash few times with warm water to open the pores, then massage with soap as u said (gently not rubbing too hard- can cause the skin to be sensitive) then rinse with warm water again to get rid of the impurities, only then splash with cold water to close the pore back.

Yes, that's one of the best ways:
When you wash your face with hot water, it opens up the pores on your skin. Then when you use soap or cleanser, it can easily get into your pores and clear out any dirt and oils and keep your skin clean. Massaging the cleanser into your skin helps it get in deeper and last longer. Then by rinsing with the cold water your pores constrict and get smaller, giving you a fresh-looking face.

Use warm water for both washing and rinsing. Massaging for 30 seconds is a right thing but your soap should not be a harsh one.

If your going to use soap and hot water. Lather the soap on a wash cloth and hot water and scrub your face with it. It will exfoliate your face.

Yes you can. If your using soap make sure that you use a mild soap & and a moisturizer because soap will dry your skin out. Using a facial cleanser is a lot better for your face.

Yes you can, but I don't know the point of using hot water then cold water. I use warm water for both washing and rinsing, with good results.

Just a few things first. What people are'nt telling you is that soap dries your skin. Maybe try Dove with the same routine. It moisturizes the skin really well. Thats the only soap I use. Good Luck.

sounds good to me. that is what i usually do (warm water for me though... can't stand hot water on my face) the cold water rinse should also do a good job of closing up your pores and making your complexion look even.
