The media promotes what some of the biased people want to hear.....That all our problems are caused from Muslims...how wrong they are...It is all about the Almighty Dollar..these people won't listen or watch a station that tells us all about the horrible things we are doing to ourselves, that doesn't sell.. People always seem to need someone or something to blame for the worlds problems....

Many Islamic nations do not have a religion and state distinction. To be in a Muslim nation is to be a Muslim. I think you may be reading a Western state/religion paradigm into an Islamic nation state scenario and thereby wrongly blaming the media. Don’t get me wrong, the media errs in many things; in this, however, the designation is correct. Secondly, what other kind of suicide bombers are there in Iraq apart from Islamic militants? What other pigs vomit ideology would lead people to such insane evil?

Actually they do, although there is NO official religion in America (hence 99% of the time in a Middle Eastern country they are Islamic, because it's the only official religion and those in other religions don't really have the rights to carry guns, do they. Can Chistians own an AK47 in Iran!)
But generally when someone goes on a shooting spree someone eventually gets around to their religion.
Take the Kansas City bombing, for example.
Take the recent shootings in Virginia, the shooter made comments about religion.

MuslimUT,
I would hope by now, that we as a people (everyone) would begin to figure out, that the media, is a tool. The people who use the tool, have an agenda. I will not go so far as to try to identify those who use it, or what they have in mind for us all. Ironically, in world war II, the Jews were the victims of this same practice in Germany. When a government wants to rally their populace together and distract them from what the government is really doing, they find a group to demonize, and direct the hatred and fear of the populace against it. It would seem, that people of the Muslim faith, are the latest victims of this technique. Although I try to remain unbiased in these affairs, I, as well as many others, have been somewhat perplexed by the lack of protest by Muslim leaders concerning horrible murders committed by people claiming to be Muslim. I have yet to see any Muslim teachers or Imams, condemning the suicide bombings going on daily against innocent people, in the name of their faith. I understand that extremists of every faith sometimes do things that reflect badly on the majority of their fellow believers. But, when a person of the Christian, or Hebrew faith commits a crime against the innocent, the leaders of their respective faiths, immediately issue statements condemning these acts. I ask you, why are not the Muslim people protesting these bombings? Why are these horrible murders against innocent men, women and children not being condemned by the leaders of your faith? If Islam truly expects to be accepted by the majority of the world's population, there must be some expression of disgust, at the acts of murderers who claim to be acting on behalf of the Prophet. If not, then don't be surprised, if your faith is treated in the same light as the Nazis were at the end of World War II. Ask yourself why you are not offended, at the horror which is being daily portrayed in the media at the hands of Islamists around the world. I know full well, that other crimes, equally horrible, are being wrought against innocent Muslims, on behalf of so called Christian governments. Even so, why the silence from Islam, concerning the crimes committed by her Zealots? When your people begin to hold your extremists accountable for their acts, perhaps the World will have a more open mind towards your faith. May Allah/God guide us all in the path of Truth.

you don't watch the news much do you? in Iraq, the tradition is muslim (not neccessarily the faith, but the ancestry) so it is seen as a muslim nation. similar to how I've heard muslims blame stuff on Christians, though it's usually not us doing anything. I bear no grudge.
stereotypes are just something we've developed as a society. people seem more secure if they have a scapegoat.

The people who are labeled as "Muslim leaders" are often killing in the name of Islam. If a christian or a jewish person, or anybody else killed in the name of their religion it would hit the headlines as well.

I think a more correct term would be muslem extremists! Christian exrtremists, are what they are refered to in the US. Like Tim mcvay, and that David Koresh guy in Waco Texas, were Christian extremists.

because it refers to a murder or murders being done in the name of jihad.
Jihad is religious war - or did you not know that?
Christian leaders for the most part do not do that but if they do it is stated in the news that this person ordered his people to do this in the name of their faith and then name the denomination - look it up.

It might be because we are fighting an actual declared war with Muslims and are therefor a bit biased against them.
