Se debe hacer ejercicio todos los días.

"You" in this case (speaking to the general public) is the impersonal you. The closest thing to that in Spanish is the passive voice.

(Ustedes) deberían hacer ejercicios cada día.

"Deberían" means "you should"; "deben" means "you must" and "deben de" expresses expectation or probability, like "You must be exercising every day (since you're so fit)".

EDIT: Refugio is right -- the impersonal form would be better here since you say "the general public". But I'd say "Se debería..."
