Saw this at Barnes and Nobel and died laughing.

What do you think a baby should do with this?

Pretty sure a baby'd just drool all over it. Maybe chew up the cover while teething.

I had a teeny pink Precious Moments Bible when I was a little kid. By the time I was in first grade, it looked as though it had gone through a wood chipper. Why do people waste money on gifts like this?

I've been an atheist all my life but people around me weren't aware of this. I received just such a gift for the birth of my youngest.

Realizing that the giver meant well, I rocked my baby and read it to him. I also read it to my other children. I don't see where it caused any harm.

As a former educator, you should know that no one should ever miss an opportunity to learn.

Of course the baby would need the entire collection: Baby's First Prayers, Babies First Bible Stories, Babies First Summa Theologica. Aquinas might be a bit difficult for the toddler, but you cant start them too young!

I don't know if you have children or not but if you do have you not ever read to your children? It doesn't mean a baby will read it, it's symbolic of the faith and it's a keepsake item. Not to mention the fact that the parent can read it to the child.

Same thing it does with all the other items.
Just look at it for stimulation.

Brainwashing of the babies, is legal?

Sounds like child abuse.
