Faith is defined as the belief in something without certain proof. They have faith that there is no divine force of any kind, so know what your saying before it comes out your mouth. You sound closed-minded, you are the one the disability. Just because you are atheist doesn't mean you can't lead a happy moral life so grow up. And I'm not an atheist.

You say 'no offence intended', i don't believe it. By your previous questions I can tell you're bent on winding people up!

Anyway, faith IS a disability because you believe without proof in stuff that makes absolutely no sense and yet you want to be taken seriously!

The term "disability" implies impairment, powerlessness, or incapacitation. Just because we have no supernatural beliefs doesn't mean we can't function. Our "faith" is in science, technology, and real-world knowledge. Clouding our reason with imaginary spirits, gods, or devils would qualify as a true disability. Nice try.

Or is religiousness a disability because it shows a lack of self-dependability?
I have faith in many things. I have faith in luck, in love, I have faith in my friends to come to my aid if needed. There is more to faith than belief in gods.

Having a faith is not an ability so therefore not having one is not a disability.

Wondering the world with eyes closed is a disability. I opened my eyes when I woke with a yurn at the first light of dawn and saw him and through his disguise

No, being able to use logic and reason and make good sensible decisions is not a disability. A lack of faith is the inability to delude oneself into believing in an unseen and unprovable being that is cruel.

THEISM is a DISABILITY because it shows an inability to think (down's syndrome/retardation) and belief in/talking to someone who is not there (schizophrenia).

No I don't think so. A disability can make you unable to function in society...atheism is just an idea...a way of thinking...you can still do your job and live a normal life..even if you are an atheist.

If it's a disability to have a lack of faith, then to have too much faith is also a disability, since you have to rely on your faith more than yourself.

You're really asking for a flaming with this question.

Actually, it should be the other way around.

Theism is a Disability because it shows a lack of confidence, lack of self esteem, lack of logic, lack of security and lack of faith, the faith for themselves.

No, I'd say it's a choice--probably a well-thought out choice. Faith is not something you are born with. You can be exposed to religion as a child. However, that is no guarantee that you will always believe.
